A United churches Parade Of Witness 1957-58.
The procession has arrived at the corner of Bagworth Road and the lane leading down to the 'Recky' (now May Meadow). The village band is leading the hymn singing. St Giles Parish Church And Gates 1965
The Church is first mentioned in 1225. It was rebuilt to the designs of Benjamin Ferrey at a cost of £1,367 in 1855. The original Chancel still survives and dates back to the 14th century. One of the bells dates back to the 1500's.

The Baptist Chapel 1965
In October 1965 the Chapel celebrated it's One Hundredth Anniversary. Services on Sunday 10.30am and 6.00pm. Sunday School was 10.15am and 2.15pm.

The Methodist Chapel Restored
The Chapel was reopened and rededicated after its modernisation on Saturday 25th January 1969 at 3.00 pm.

The Methodist Chapel 1965
This shows the Church which was built in 1833 as it was originally built. It has been drastically modernised, the houses on either side have both been demolished and the sites re-developed.

The Primitive Methodist Chapel.
The Chapel is situated in Newbold Road. It was erected in 1833 and this shows how it originally looked. It has since been extensively "modernised" externally.
